The Supreme Court of Hong Kong

March 17th 1869.

In pursuance of the authority given by section 34 of Ordinance No. 7 of 1862 I hereby direct and request you to preside at the trial of all cases brought before the Court of Criminal Jurisdiction and also to hear and determine all causes, matters and things which shall be depending at the Criminal Session of the Supreme Court and otherwise in the said Court in its various jurisdictions and whether in Court or in Chambers and in all matters incident to the Offices of the said Court from day to day until the 25th of March instant (said day included) except the Trial of one Julian Pauncefort, Esq., Judge of the Court of Summary Jurisdiction.
